# Blue Horizon Introduction

Blue Horizon is a curated platform where the attractive aspects of DeFi are combined with the world of high-quality NFTs to increase value for Artists and Collectors. Buy NFTs with any of the tokens listed on the DEX and use the NFTs in farming and gamification to yield rewards.

The Blue Horizon platform is a user friendly and fair platform by giving a significant part of the platform fees back to Artists and Collectors. The NFT marketplace is being curated to make sure that only high quality artwork is eligible for staking and farming

The platform is built on Binance smart chain to have low transaction costs and fast transaction confirmations. The platform is built on 2 important pillars of blockchain technology; DeFi and NFTs

DeFi: Our own Decentralized Exchange (DEX) with a focus on (but not limited to) NFT related tokens. Access the DEX and earn BLH by using your BLH tokens in yield farming.

NFT: A curated NFT marketplace for NFTs. Buy and sell NFTs as a Collector or publish your own NFTs if you are an Artist. Monetize your NFTs by earning BLH tokens with NFT staking and NFT farming

Blue Horizon chose for Binance smart chain (BSC) in order to realise a low transaction cost structure, then other layer 1 chains such as Bitcoin or Ethereum

We all know the risks of centralized exchanges, so by directly using our exchange with your own wallet, you keep in control of digital assets. In other words, trade directly from your wallets without the need for additional transaction fees.
